Question 2

The sum of the square of three consecutive odd numbers is 2195. Find the numbers.

Let the three consecutive odd numbers be $$(x-2),(x),(x+2)$$

According to ques,

=> $$(x-2)^2+(x)^2+(x+2)^2=2195$$

=> $$(x^2-4x+4)+(x^2)+(x^2+4x+4)=2195$$

=> $$3x^2+8=2195$$

=> $$3x^2=2195-8=2187$$

=> $$x^2=\frac{2187}{3}=729$$

=> $$x=\sqrt{729}=27$$

$$\therefore$$ Consecutive odd numbers are = $$25,27,29$$

=> Ans - (C)
