If the sum of two numbers, one of which is $$\frac{2}{5}$$ times the other, is 50, then the numbers are

Solution

Let the number be $$x$$

=> Other number will be $$\frac{2x}{5}$$

Acc to ques :

=> $$x$$ + $$\frac{2x}{5}$$ = 50

=> $$7x$$ = 250

=> $$x$$ = $$\frac{250}{7}$$

and second number = $$\frac{2}{5} * \frac{250}{7} = \frac{100}{7}$$
