Solution

The total number of candidates short listed = (65 +220+280+85+120+325+550) = 1645

The total number of candidates eligible for the post = 2500+3200+2800+2400+3000+4800+6500 = 25200

The required percentage = 100 * 1645 / 25200 = 6.53%
