What is the ratio between total number of candidates short-listed for all the posts together from States E and G respectively?

Solution

Total number of candidates shortlisted from E = 120 + 280 + 75 + 280 + 260 + 520 = 1535

Total number of candidates shortlisted from G = 550 + 140 + 325 + 220 + 410 + 200 = 1845

So, the ratio = 1535:1845 = 307:369
