Study the following table carefully to answer the questions given below it .
Total Residents and Percentage of Women out of those Living in Various Societies Over the Years
What is the approximate average number of women living in all the societies together in the year 2002 ?
Total number of women in 2002 in society :
A = $$\frac{45}{100} \times 300$$ = 135
B = $$\frac{60}{100} \times 240$$ = 144
C = $$\frac{36}{100} \times 150$$ = 54
D = $$\frac{30}{100} \times 200$$ = 60
E = $$\frac{38}{100} \times 300$$ = 114
=> Total = 135 + 144 + 54 + 60 + 114 = 507
$$\therefore$$ Required average = $$\frac{507}{5}$$ = 101.4
$$\approx$$ 101
