Study the following table carefully to answer the questions given below it .
Total Residents and Percentage of Women out of those Living in Various Societies Over the Years
What is the respective ratio of the number of women to the residents in society C over the years?
Number of women in society C in :
2002 = $$\frac{36}{100} \times 150$$ = 54
2003 = $$\frac{40}{100} \times 200$$ = 80
2004 = $$\frac{40}{100} \times 210$$ = 84
2005 = $$\frac{50}{100} \times 230$$ = 115
2006 = $$\frac{45}{100} \times 240$$ = 108
2007 = $$\frac{45}{100} \times 260$$ = 117
=> Total women in society C = 54 + 80 + 84 + 115 + 108 + 117 = 558
Total residents in society C = 150 + 200 + 210 + 230 + 240 + 260 = 1290
$$\therefore$$ Required ratio = 558 : 1290
= 93 : 215
