The paragraph says that Advertisements facilitate decision making and help increase the sales of a product.

(B) presents a view, that most people don't want advertisements. This doesn't contradicts all the facts presented, as even though people might not like that, but advertisements can still help the sales of a product. Hence (B) can't be the answer.
(C) presents the pros of advertisements and supports the arguments.
(D) supports the arguments presented in the paragraph.
(E) says consumers lose faith in advertisements if they find the products are not up to the mark. This means that sooner or later, the sales of the products advertised would go down and also since people have lost faith in advertisements, advertisements won't help them in making decisions.
