A’s 2 days’ work is equal to B’s 3 days’ work. If A can complete the work in 8 days then to complete the work B will take
A's 2 days work = B's 3 days work
=> 2A = 3B => A = 3B/2
Now, A can complete the work in 8 days
=> 8A = 8 * $$\frac{3B}{2}$$
=> 8A = 12B
Hence, B can complete the same work in 12 days.
