Let total marks in the examination = $$100x$$

Pass %= 36%

=> Passing marks = $$\frac{36}{100} * 100x = 36x$$

Now, according to question

=> 190 + 35 = $$36x$$

=> $$x$$ = 225/36 = 6.25

=> Total marks = 6.25*100 = 625
