here the given series is 3, 11, 38, 102, 227,?

let the missing term be y

we can see that

11 - 3 = 8 = 2^3

38 - 11 = 27 = 3^3

102 - 38 = 64 = 4^3

227 - 102 = 125 = 5^3

hence y - 227 = 6^3 = 216

y = 216 + 227 = 443
