In each of these questions, two quianitties A and B are given: Compare the two quantities and mark answer as
The measures of the angles in triangle P are in the ratio of 2:4:6
The measures of the angles in triangle Q are in the ratio of 1:2:6.
A: The measurements of the largest angle in triangle P
B: The measurements of the largest angle in triangle Q
Let us take a look at both the quantities,
A: Largest angle in Triangle P. angles in triangle P are in the ratio of 2:4:6
This is in the ratio 1:2:3
The largest angle will be $$\frac{3}{1+2+3}\times\ 180=90$$
B: Largest angle in Triangle Q, angles in triangle Q are in the ratio of 1:2:6.
The largest angle will be $$\frac{6}{1+2+6}=\frac{2}{3}\times180=120$$
B is larger.
