The difference between 73% of a number and 58% of the same number is 960. What is 22% of that number?
Let the number be $$100x$$
Acc to ques,
=> $$(73 - 58) \%$$ of $$100x = 960$$
=> $$\frac{15}{100} \times 100x = 960$$
=> $$x = \frac{960}{15} = 64$$
=> Number = 100 * 64 = 6400
$$\therefore$$ 22% of 6400 = $$\frac{22}{100} * 6400$$
= 1408
