If 84+96=4842, then 36+78= ?

Solution

Both the numbers are divided by 2 and the results are concatenated.

Eg : $$\frac{96}{2}=48$$ and $$\frac{84}{2}=42\equiv4842$$

Similarly, $$\frac{78}{2}=39$$ and $$\frac{36}{2}=18\equiv3918$$
