If 6#30=5; 8#24=3; 7#28=4; then what is the value of 8#40=?

Solution

The second number is divided by the first.

Eg : 6#30 = $$\frac{30}{6}=5$$

and 8#24 = $$\frac{24}{8}=3$$

and 7#28 = $$\frac{28}{7}=4$$

Similarly, 8#40 = $$\frac{40}{8}=5$$
