If 12x16 = 188 and 14x18 = 248, then find the value of 16x20 = ?

Solution

The pattern followed is that 4 is subtracted from the product of the numbers.

Eg : $$(12\times16)-4=192-4=188$$

and $$(14\times18)-4=252-4=248$$

Similarly, $$(16\times20)-4=320-4=316$$

=> Ans - (C)
