If 11$25 = 18, 12$20 = 16 then what is the value of 4$50 = ?

Solution

The pattern followed is that for $$a$$ $ $$b$$ = $$\frac{a+b}{2}$$

Eg : 11$25 = $$\frac{11+25}{2}=\frac{36}{2}=18$$

and 12$20 = $$\frac{12+20}{2}=\frac{32}{2}=16$$

Similarly, 4$50 = $$\frac{4+50}{2}=\frac{54}{2}=27$$
