Solution

The pattern is :

3 $$\times 1 + 1^2$$ = 4

4 $$\times 2 + 2^2$$ = 12

12 $$\times 3 + 3^2$$ = 45

45 $$\times 4 + 4^2$$ = 196

196 $$\times 5 + 5^2$$ = 1005
