The pattern followed is :

8 $$\times 1 - 1$$ = 7

7 $$\times 2 - 2$$ = 12

12 $$\times 3 - 3$$ = 33

33 $$\times 4 - 4$$ = 128

128 $$\times 5 - 5$$ = 635
