Question 145

The area of a trapezium is 105 sq. m and, the lengths of its parallel sides are 9m and 12m respectively. Then the height of the trapezium is

Area of trapezium = $$\frac{1}{2}$$*(sum of parallel sides)*(height)

=> $$\frac{1}{2}*(9 + 12)*h = 105$$

=> $$h = \frac{105 * 2}{21}$$

=> $$h = 10 m$$
