Q, a male engineer travels with only W, a teacher in vehicle I. S is a male doctor. Two persons belonging to same profession do not travel in the same vehicle. P is not an engineer and travels in vehicle II.

Question 14

Which of the following is not correct ?

Solution

If we arrange the data in a tabular form we get,

Vehicle 1 -> Q(Male)(Engineer) , W(Female)(Teacher)

Vehicle 2 -> P(Female)(Teacher) , V(Female)(Engineer) , S(Male)(Doctor)

Vehicle 3 -> R(Female)(Doctor) , T(Male)(Teacher)

Hence V - Female - Teacher is the wrong combination.
