The interest on a certain sum of money is Rs. 22 and the true discount on the same sum for the same time and at the same rate is Rs. 20, Find the sum.
Interest (I)= Rs. 22 and true discount (D)= Rs. 20
=> Sum = $$\frac{I\times D}{I-D}$$
= $$\frac{22\times20}{22-20}$$
= $$\frac{22\times20}{2}$$
= $$22\times10=Rs.$$ $$220$$
