If 49 is subtracted from the square of a number, then the result obtained is 576. What is the number?

Solution

Let the number be $$x$$

According to ques,

=> $$x^2-49=576$$

=> $$x^2=576+49=625$$

=> $$x=\sqrt{625}=25$$

=> Ans - (B)
