What should come in place of the question mark (?) in the following questions?

Question 138

$$65\% of 400 + \sqrt{?} = 40\% of 800 - 12\% of 400$$

Solution

Expression : $$65\% of 400 + \sqrt{?} = 40\% of 800 - 12\% of 400$$

=> $$(\frac{65}{100} \times 400) + (\sqrt{?}) = (\frac{40}{100} \times 800) - (\frac{12}{100} \times 400)$$

=> $$260 + \sqrt{?} = 320 - 48$$

=> $$\sqrt{?} = 272 - 260 = 12$$

=> $$? = 12^2 = 144$$
