Solution

The pattern here followed is :

2 * 3 + 5 = 11

11 * 4 - 6 = 38

38 * 5 + 7 = 197

197 * 6 - 8 = 1174

1174 * 7 + 9 = 8227

8227 * 8 - 10 = 65806

Thus, 1172 is wrong
