A cuboidal tank has 25000 litres of water. If the depth of the cuboid is $$\frac{1}{5}$$ of its length and breadth is $$\frac{1}{8}$$ of its length, then the length of the tank is:
volume(capacity) of tank=25000litres=$$25m^3$$
let length of tank be l metre.
according to que,
 width of tank,b=l/8 m
 depth of tank,h=l/5 m
volume=lbh,
$$lbh=25m^3$$
$$l\times\dfrac{l}{8}\times\dfrac{l}{5}=25$$
$$l^3\dfrac{1}{40}=25$$
$$l^3=25\times40$$
$$l^3=1000$$
$$l=10$$m
