A can fill the tank in=18 hours
B can fill the tank in=24 hours
C can empty the tank in 36 hours
If all the three are opened, then the tank will fill in 1 hour$$=\dfrac{1}{18}+\dfrac{1}{24}-\dfrac{1}{36}=\dfrac{4+3-2}{72}=\dfrac{5}{72}$$
The tank will be filled in$$=\dfrac{72}{5}$$
Hence $$\dfrac{5}{6}$$ will be filled in $$=\dfrac{5}{6}\times\dfrac{72}{5}=12hours.$$
