If a% of a + b% of b = 2% of ab, then what percent of a is b?

Solution

$$\dfrac{a}{100}\times a+\dfrac{b}{100}\times b\ =\ \dfrac{2}{100}\times ab$$

$$a^2+b^2=2ab$$

$$\left(a-b\right)^2=0$$

a = b

Thus, a is 100% of b.
