(ii) Percentage distribution of girls in each discipline of the same college Total number of girls = 2000

Total number of girls = 2000
% of girls in Engineering discipline = 12%
=> Number of girls studying in Engineering discipline = $$\frac{12}{100}\times2000$$
= $$12\times200=240$$
