If $$\ \frac{a}{b}=\frac{1}{2}$$, find the value of the expression $$\ \frac{(2a-5b)}{(5a+3b)}$$
Solution
Given : $$\ \frac{a}{b}=\frac{1}{2}$$
Let $$a=1$$ and $$b=2$$
To find : $$\ \frac{(2a-5b)}{(5a+3b)}$$
= $$\frac{2(1)-5(2)}{5(1)+3(2)}$$
= $$\frac{2-10}{5+6}=\frac{-8}{11}$$
=> Ans - (C)
