Let his total journey be $$60x$$ km

Distance travelled by rail = $$\frac{2}{15} * 60x = 8x$$

Distance travelled by car = $$\frac{9}{20} * 60x = 27x$$

Remaining distance = $$60x - 8x - 27x = 25x$$

Acc to ques :

=> $$25x = 10$$

=> $$x = \frac{2}{5}$$

=> Total journey = $$\frac{2}{5}$$ * 60 = 24 km
