Solution

Let's say cost price of 15 articles is $$x$$
cost price of 12 articles will be = $$\frac{12x}{15}$$

selling price of 15 articles is = $$x$$

gain = $$\frac{3x}{15}$$

gain% = $$\frac{\frac{3x}{15}}{\frac{12x}{15}} \times 100$$ = 25
