Standard XII male population of State E is what percent of the Standard XII male population of State F ?

Solution

Total standard XII population of State E = $$\frac{19}{100} \times 32$$ lakhs

=> Standard XII male population of State E = $$\frac{9}{19} \times \frac{19}{100} \times 32$$ lakhs

= $$9 \times 0.32 = 2.88$$ lakhs

Total standard XII population of State F = $$\frac{20}{100} \times 32$$ lakhs

=> Standard XII male population of State F = $$\frac{3}{5} \times \frac{20}{100} \times 32$$ lakhs

= $$12 \times 0.32 = 3.84$$ lakhs

$$\therefore$$ Required % = $$\frac{2.88}{3.84} \times 100$$

= $$\frac{3}{4} \times 100 = 75 \%$$
