In which month (of the same year) did Ritesh appear in an examination ?
I. Ritesh’s brother correctly remembers that he appeared in the examination after April but before November and that month was of 30 days.
II. Ritesh’s sister correctly remembers that he appeared in the examination after June but before December and that month did not have 31 days.
I : According to Ritesh's brother, month between April and November (excluding them) with 30 days are = June, September
Thus, statement I alone is insufficient.
II : According to Ritesh's sister, month between June and December (excluding them) with 30 days are = September, November
Again, this statement alone is insufficient.
But if we combine both the statements, we get a common month, thus Ritesh appeared in the exam in September.
$$\therefore$$ Both statements together are sufficient.
