By what per cent is the total number of students of school Y more than that of school W ?

Solution

Total no. of students in school Y = 100+120 = 220

Total no. of students in school W = 60+80 = 140

Difference = 220-140 = 80

% by which total student of school Y are greater than that of school W = (80/140)*100 = 57.14% = ~57%
