If the average of x and $$\frac{1}{x}$$ be 1, then the value of $$x^{10}+\frac{1}{x^{10}}$$ is
here it is given that
$$x + \frac{1}{x}$$ = 2
and it is possible only when x = 1
and hence we will put x = 1 in $$x^{10} + \frac{1}{x^{10}}$$ = 1 + 1 = 2
