Question 116

X is 30% more than Y and 25% less than Z. If value of Y is Rs 300, then what is the value (in Rs) of Z ?

Given : $$Y=300$$

Also, X is 30% more than Y

=> $$X=300+(\frac{30}{100}\times300)$$

= $$300+90=390$$

And, X is 25% less than Z

=> $$Z=\frac{390}{(100-25)}\times100$$

= $$\frac{390}{3}\times4=520$$

=> Ans - (D)
