A batsman scores 92 runs in the $$15^{th}$$ inning and thusincreases his average by 4. What is his averageafter the $$15^{th}$$ inning?

Let the average after $$14^{th}$$ inning =$$ x $$

then total = $$14x$$

According to question $$14x+92= (x+4)15 $$

$$\Rightarrow 14x + 92 = 15x+ 60 $$

$$\Rightarrow 92 - 60 = 15x - 14x $$

$$\Rightarrow x = 32 $$ 

so  average after $$15^{th}$$ inning 32 + 4 = 36 Ans
