In a $$\triangle ABC$$, angle $$BAC = 90^\circ$$. If $$BC = 25 cm$$, then whatis the length of the median AD?

Solution

We draw the diagram $$\triangle ABC $$

In the $$\triangle ABC where $$ \angle BAC = 90^\circ $$

then AD = $$ \frac{1}{2} BC $$

AD = $$ \frac{1} {2} \times 25 $$

AD = 12.5 cm Ans
