If a+b+c=4√3 and $$a^{2} + b^{2} +c^{2}$$ = 16, then the ratio a : b : c is

Solution

$${(a+b+c)^2}$$ = $$a^2 + b^2 +c^2 + 2(ab +bc +ac)$$

48 = 16 + 2(ab+bc+ac)

32 = 2(ab+bc+ac)

ab+bc+ac=16......(1)

as $$a^2 + b^2 + c^2$$ = 16......(2)

using 1 and 2 

a=b=c
