If 2A = 3B, then what is the value of (A + B)/A?

Solution

Given, 2A = 3B i.e

$$\frac{A}{B} = \frac{3}{2}$$ (or) $$\frac{B}{A} = \frac{2}{3}$$

Now, $$\frac{A+B}{A} \Rightarrow (\frac{A}{A} + \frac{B}{A}$$) $$\Rightarrow (1 + \frac{2}{3}) = \frac{5}{3}$$

Hence, option D is the correct answer.
