Let the three consecutive numbers be $$(x-1),(x),(x+1)$$
Sum = $$(x-1)+x+(x+1)=15$$
=> $$3x=15$$
=> $$x=\frac{15}{3}=5$$
$$\therefore$$ Square of the middle number = $$x^2=5^2=25$$
