We will break the series in 2 parts,
Odd positions: 4, 13, ?, 121
Even positions: 6, 13, 28, 59
For even positions, 6*2 + 1 = 13 --> 13*2 + 2 = 28 --> 28*2 + 3 = 59 and so on.
For odd positions, using a similar logic, 4*3 + 1 = 13 --> 13*3 + 1 = 40 --> 40*3 + 1 = 121.
So, the missing term is 40.
