Question 106

Divide 2,600 among A. B,C in the ratio 1/2 : 1/3 :1/4 Find the share of each.

A : B : C = $$\frac{1}{2} : \frac{1}{3} : \frac{1}{4}$$

L.C.M.(2,3,4) = 12

Multiplying each ratio by 12

=> A : B : C = 6 : 4 : 3

=> A's share = $$\frac{6}{13} * 2600$$ = 1200

B's share = $$\frac{4}{13} * 2600$$ = 800

C's share = $$\frac{3}{13} * 2600$$ = 600
