Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed the 10+2 (Standard XII) or its equivalent from any board recognized by Indian Law (CBSE, ISC, State Boards, etc.) or international examinations like Cambridge IB.

Minimum Marks Requirement (General/Open Category): 50% minimum passing marks or equivalent grade in 12th standard board examination is required from the candidates in the general/open category.

Minimum Marks Requirement (SC/ST Category): 5% relaxation has been given for the SC/ST category students and an aggregate score of 45% minimum passing marks or equivalent grade in 12th standard is needed for admission.

Awaiting Result: Students awaiting their final result for the 12th board examination that is to be conducted in March/April 2026 can still apply for the admission. Admission to these students will be granted provisionally upon the condition that they meet minimum percentage requirement during the time of the final document verification.

Stage 1: Registration & the SET 2026 Entrance Exam

The SET exam is conducted in the computer based mode (CBT) which covers basics under 4 sections:

Nagpur Domicile: 25% of the total sanctioned seats are for candidates residing and completing their 12th board examinations from schools located within the Nagpur urban municipal limits.

3. Supernumerary Quota Allocations (Additional seats over the sanctioned intake)
