NTA Exam Calendar 2027 Out, Check Exam-wise Schedule PDF

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released its Examination Calendar up to March 2027 through a Public Notice dated September 16, 2026. The calendar gives the tentative schedule of major NTA examinations from December 2026 to March 2027. It is intended to help candidates and institutions plan their academic and examination-related activities. NTA has also clarified that the dates are tentative and may change due to administrative, academic, statutory, logistical or other unforeseen circumstances.

NTA Exam Calendar 2027

The NTA Exam Calendar 2027 covers examinations scheduled during January, February and March 2027, while the same notice also lists five examinations for December 2026. The January schedule includes JEE Main Session 1, which is one of the key dates for engineering aspirants.

NTA exam calendar 2027 PDF

The NTA Exam Calendar 2027 PDF contains the tentative examination schedule released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on September 16, 2026. The calendar covers examinations proposed from December 2026 to March 2027, including the major examinations scheduled in January, February and March 2027.

The official PDF provides the name of each examination, proposed date(s), and duration. Candidates can refer to the PDF below to check the complete schedule directly from the NTA notice.

NTA Exam Dates 2027

For candidates planning their 2027 preparation, the most important point is that the calendar provides proposed dates, not final dates. JEE Main Session 1 is scheduled for January 22–24 and January 28–30, 2027, with January 31 kept as a buffer date. CMAT is proposed for February 7, while CUET PG is scheduled across multiple dates in March.

A buffer date is included by NTA for certain examinations. It should not be treated as a regular examination date unless NTA subsequently confirms its use. The same approach applies to all other dates in the calendar: candidates should wait for the relevant official notice for final confirmation.

The following exam-wise view makes the schedule easier to track:

MonthNTA Exams / Schedule
January 2027Army Cadets College – Jan 4; SHRESHTA (NETS) – Jan 10; NIFT Entrance Examination – Jan 10; JEE Main Session 1 – Jan 22–24 & 28–30; AISSEE – Jan 31
February 2027CMAT – Feb 7; NITTT Part 1 – Feb 26–27
March 2027CUET PG – Mar 1–5, 8, 12–20, 24–25; NITTT Part 2 – Mar 5 & 7

This calendar is particularly useful for candidates who are preparing for more than one NTA examination. However, preparation schedules, application planning and travel arrangements should be updated whenever NTA publishes a revised date or examination-specific notice.

JEE Main, NEET and CUET 2027 Exam Dates

JEE Main 2027 is included in the NTA calendar, with Session 1 proposed from January 22 to 24 and January 28 to 30, 2027. January 31 is listed as a buffer date. The calendar also includes CUET (PG) 2027 in March.

However, the September 16, 2026 NTA calendar does not list NEET (UG) 2027 or CUET (UG) 2027. Therefore, you should not infer their 2027 examination dates from this calendar. Candidates preparing for NEET UG or CUET UG should wait for the respective official notification and examination schedule on the NTA examination portals. The current official NEET portal provides examination schedules and notices separately.

The distinction is important because CUET (PG) and CUET (UG) are separate examinations. The calendar specifically mentions CUET (PG), not CUET (UG).

Where to Check Official NTA Exam Calendar 2027 Updates?

Candidates should check the official NTA website and the official portal of the examination they are preparing for. NTA has advised candidates to rely only on information published on the official NTA website and the respective examination portals.

Use the official NTA calendar for broad planning, and use examination-specific notices for final dates and other important details. Candidates should regularly check for updates related to application forms, examination city intimation, admit cards, answer keys and results. Since the dates in the September 16, 2026 calendar are tentative, any revised schedule published officially should be followed over earlier calendar dates.

NTA Exam Calendar 2027: Conclusion

The NTA Exam Calendar 2027 provides a tentative schedule of major examinations planned from December 2026 to March 2027. It includes important exams such as JEE Main Session 1, CMAT, CUET PG, NIFT Entrance Examination and other NTA-conducted examinations. Candidates can use these proposed dates to plan their preparation and application activities.

Since the dates mentioned in the calendar are tentative, candidates should regularly check the official NTA website and respective examination portals for final examination dates and updates. Any revised schedule or examination-specific notification issued by NTA should be followed over the dates mentioned in the initial calendar.
