The official report indicates that over 80 recruiters were participating and that they also offered internships in more than 15 sectors. Year-on-year, the number of new companies added this year grew by 25%, which is a positive sign of the growing corporate network of the institute. Relationships with companies ranged from high-growth startups to large multinational companies, including a good balance of public and private sectors. The number of new recruiters was 70+.

IIM Jammu Internship 2025
IIM Jammu Internships offered in 2025 were project based and lasted for durations of 8-10 weeks, across multiple functional areas. Some students were involved in strategic business projects, notable mentions would be; market entry strategy, customer segmentation, digital transformation and financial restructuring, to name a few.
IIM Jammu have a rigorous mentoring program, ensuring that students are supported and guided by both their corporate mentors and their academic supervisor during the period of internship. The dual mentorship format provides students with not just practical exposure, but a consistent pathway of ongoing learning and feedback.

IIM Jammu Summer Placement Process
The Summer placement Process of IIM Jammu is structured, systematic, and student-centric. It begins with a student registration and profile verification stage, after which the candidates are required to submit their resumes, and the recruiters have pre-placement talks. The recruiters conduct this talk but the agenda is very much for the students; to give them insights about what to expect from the organization, working culture, and of course, the job.
After the pre-placement talks, students start participating in the application process, which includes group discussions, case studies, aptitude tests, and personal interviews.
Another interesting aspect of the process, is the introduction of a preparatory bootcamp for three weeks before the week of placements start. This bootcamp involved case interviews training, resume building workshop, mock group discussion, and so on.
