The placement process is a 4-step process in the TISS.

  1. Pre-Placement Talk: The companies are invited for a pre-placement talk for the batch. This helps the students in making an informed decision during their final placement process.
  2. Student Resumes and Shortlisting: The companies get the option of either circulating their customized application forms amongst candidates or accepting resumes from interested candidates.
  3. Slotting Process: The students rank the companies based on their order of preference. The companies are then informed about their respective slot for placement.
  4. Recruitment Process: The companies intimate the Placement office about the details such as process of selection (preliminary test, GD, interview, case, etc.), number of rounds of the GD and group size, number of rounds of interview, and approximate duration of the GDs and interview in advance
