SIES Mumbai Admission Process

The admission process at SIES College of Management Studies comprises of two stages - the first one being the initial shortlisting wherein the candidates are selected and called depending on the entrance cutoffs. The second one is final selection where candidates are evaluated based on their overall profile and parameters like performance in exam, GDPI, work experience etc.

The admission process is explained in detail step by step as follows-

Registration

Candidates can fill up the application form at the official website of the institute with a valid email ID and contact number. The payment can be done through Net banking,credit card or debit card and the application fees is INR 2000. SIES has introduced a single common application form for all the three PGDM courses. You need to upload the scanned copies of 10th, 12th and graduation marksheet along with a passport size photograph and signature.

Initial Shortlisting

The first round of shortlisting is done on the basis of entrance scores accepted by the institute which are- CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA and MAH CET. SEISCOM considers aggregate scores and there is no sectional cutoff as such. Applicants can submit more than one entrance scores if they wish , the best one will be considered by the institute. The cutoff is not usually that high and any applicant scoring positive marks in the entrance test are provided the chance to attend the GDPI round. Cutoffs usually depend upon quality and number of applications received and varies year on year for different courses.

GDPI Round

The shortlisted candidates are promoted to next stage of selection process that is GDPI (Group Discussion and Personal Interview). There are a total of 11 centers where this round will be conducted all of which are SIES Campuses- Navi Mumbai, Jaipur, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Ahmadabad, Delhi, Nagpur, Kolkata, Kolhapur, Patna and Lucknow. You can select your preferred city while filling up the application form. The GDPI round is scheduled to be conducted in the month of March/ April.

Final Selection and Document Verification

The final selection is based on the overall profile of the candidate giving different weightages to various parameters mentioned in the table below-

What are the seats available for each program?

There are total of 210 seats for core PGDM program , 30 for Biotechnological Management and 60 for Pharmaceutical Management.

Can I get direct admission at SIES College of Management Studies?

Yes, there are some limited seats available for those who are unable to secure admission through regular round. However, the fees for such seats is higher than the normal ones.

What is the eligibility criteria for PGDM program at SIESCOM?

A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in your bachelor's degree and you should have given one of the following entrance tests- CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA/MAH CET.

Is there any sectional cutoff for admissions at SIESCOM?
