CAT 2025 Results Valid Until Dec 31, 2026 Aspirants are reminded that their official scorecard is a mandatory document for seeking admission into MBA/PGP programs for the 2026-28 batch. The validity of this scorecard is limited to one year, expiring on December 31, 2026. Candidates are advised to save a digital copy and take multiple physical printouts for future verification.

IIM Kozhikode Announces CAT 2025 Results on iimcat.ac.in The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode has officially released the CAT 2025 results. Candidates can now access their scorecards by logging into the official portal using their unique User ID and Password. The declaration comes after a rigorous evaluation of approximately 2.58 lakh test-takers who appeared for the exam on November 30.

For the final selection, the CAT score is usually only one piece of the puzzle. Most IIMs use a weighted average known as a Composite Score:

Several top IIMs have modified their admission criteria for the upcoming batch. IIM Indore has drastically reduced its Class 10 weightage from 39% to just 10%, while increasing the focus on Class 12 (25%) and Quant performance (23 marks). IIM Bangalore has introduced a "Standardization Formula" for professional degrees like CA and CS and is offering 5 additional points to female candidates during the pre-interview shortlisting stage to boost gender diversity.

Once you have your percentile, individual IIMs will begin shortlisting for Personal Interviews (PI) and Written Ability Tests (WAT) starting in the first week of January 2026.

• IIM Indore Update: The selection weightage for Class 10 has dropped from 39% to 10%, while Class 12 weightage has increased to 25%.
• IIM Bangalore & Mumbai: These institutes maintain high sectional cut-offs, typically requiring at least 75-80 percentile in each section for General category candidates.
• Work Experience: For the first time at some institutes like IIM Indore, professional work experience is being given direct marks in the pre-PI composite score.

Aspirants must clear both overall and sectional cut-offs to be eligible for the next round. According to Cracku's category-wise analysis:

• IIM Ahmedabad: Requires 95+ overall with 85+ in each section (General).
• IIM Bangalore: Requires 85+ overall with 80+ in each section (General).
• IIM Lucknow: Requires 90+ overall with 85+ in each section (General).
• New IIMs (CAP): Most require an overall 95 percentile with sectional bars around 70-75.

To ensure fairness across different shifts, IIM Kozhikode uses a statistical scaling method to convert Raw Scores into Scaled Scores.

• Step 1: Raw Score Calculation: +3 for correct, -1 for wrong MCQs, and 0 for TITA (Non-MCQ) questions.
• Step 2: Slot Comparison: The mean and standard deviation for each slot are compared to the overall average across all sessions.
• Step 3: Scaling: Candidates in tougher slots (like Slot 2 DILR this year) receive an upward adjustment, while easier slots may see a minor downward adjustment.
• Step 4: Percentile Ranking: The final percentile is calculated using these scaled scores, reflecting your relative rank among the 2.58 lakh test-takers.

To qualify for shortlisting, candidates must clear both the overall and sectional cut-offs. For the 2026-28 cycle, IIM Ahmedabad has set a minimum sectional qualifying cut-off of 85 percentile across VARC, DILR, and QA for the General category. IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta have slightly lower sectional qualifying bars at 80 percentile, though the actual calls for the general category typically go to those with 99.5+ overall percentiles.
