IIM Indore CAT 2023 Cut-off (Expected) & Selection Process

In the first stage, they shortlist candidates for a personal interview based on their CAT scores and academic records. IIM Indore values students who have consistently performed well and also considers work experience and academic achievements.
Stage 1: Eligibility Criteria
To apply for IIM Indore’s two-year PGP program, all applicants must meet the eligibility criteria stated in the CAT notification. They should also score at least the minimum required percentile in each section and overall in CAT. Only those who fulfil these criteria will move on to Stage 2 of the selection process.

The merit list, based on the Composite Score (CS) as mentioned in the table below, will be used to shortlist enough candidates from each category (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST, and PwD) for the PI round.
Components | Score |
10th Score | 34*(Zcandidate-Zmin/Zmax-Zmin) |
12th Score | 40*(Zcandidate-Zmin/Zmax-Zmin) |

Diversity Factor (DF) | 6 |
Composite Score | =Sum of the above scores |
Note: Z candidate, Z min, Z max for 10th Score and 12th Score are computed using the normalisation process.
Candidates who qualify for the PI round will be notified, but there won’t be individual regret letters sent to those not shortlisted for PI. The admission interviews can be conducted offline or online, depending on the situation, and IIM Indore reserves the right to change the interview centres if needed.
Candidates who make it to Stage 2 and get shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) must attend the PI. If they miss it, they won’t move on to Stage 3 of the selection process. During the PI, IIM Indore expects candidates to perform consistently and meet minimum requirements in various aspects, as decided by the Admissions Committee. Those who don’t meet the minimum performance in any of the PI parameters won’t be considered for Stage 3.
Stage 3: Final Selection
Only candidates who meet the requirements mentioned in Stage 2 will be considered for the final selection. Each category will have its own merit list based on the Final Composite Score (FCS), as shown in the table below. Provisional admission offers will be given according to this merit list, following the reservation norms as well.
